Congress passes resolution mandating disclosure of US military numbers in Ukraine

The Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives has passed a resolution obliging the US administration to disclose the number of US military personnel stationed in Ukraine.

It is noted that the resolution now needs to be approved by a vote of the entire House of Representatives.

Politico earlier wrote about the presence of nearly 100 NATO special forces troops in Ukraine.

The White House National Security Council’s strategic communications coordinator, John Kirby, said that a small number of US Special Forces soldiers were on the territory of the US embassy in Kiev.
