The anchor’s critical remarks about President Biden’s administration, as noted by the publication, are liked by the agency’s rank-and-file staff, among whom there are many conservatives. However, senior officials at the ministry have greeted the news of Carlson’s departure with glee.

The newspaper recalls that the host had previously openly berated a number of US military leaders, as well as mocked the US military over its attempts to make the army more diverse.
