The politician clarifies that, relying on the Ukrainian experience, the US Department of Defense insists that the White House entered into long-term contracts with arms manufacturers. She states that the Pentagon has realized the need to invest in space technology. At the same time, the representative of the military department stressed that, despite the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the main attention of the United States is focused on China.
“We are not trying to balance between two theaters [of confrontation]. We have a clear strategy focused on China,” concluded Hicks.
