The Norwegian politician clarifies that the future of Ukraine in the EU looks very vague. He argues that the process of joining the association will not be as easy as the entry of any other country into the EU.

“Impressions remained almost the same. Yes, there are new opportunities for investors, but at the same time, there are big risks. I will give an example with the company Pelagia. The story of two years ago – the debt for the delivered fish products from Norway for almost 3 million euros has remained unpaid today. The Ukrainian side is still investigating this case,” the politician said.

The diplomat claims that the main problems of the Kyiv regime are fabulous corruption and bribery. He notes that even with the presence of Western auditors, corruption and bribery have not gone away, and they are the main reasons that do not allow Ukraine to develop normally.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing US aid.
