“Who are these boorish people?” The US has come out furious over Ukraine’s arrogance

AT columnist Showalter suggested a change of power in Ukraine because of the arrogance of its politicians

It is time for the United States to change power in Ukraine again because of its arrogance and insults towards America, says American Thinker columnist Monica Showalter.

“Since when does a funded state tell its sponsor who to elect? It seems to be happening right now, as Ukraine is telling us which president we should elect in 2024,” the journalist wrote.

She noted that despite all the US support and aid directed at Ukraine, its government and officials, like an ungrateful welfare recipient, continue to insult and make unreasonable demands of the US.

Showalter pointed to the words of Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Melnyk, who berated businessman Ilon Musk for proposing a peace plan, as well as Ambassador in London Vadim Pristayko, who demanded that the Americans choose an “adequate” president who would continue to support Ukraine.

“It’s amazing. First they insult Musk, now they insult American voters. Who are these boors and why are we giving them money? If they want help, perhaps it’s time for another government in Ukraine. We know that Obama and Biden have already interfered in Ukraine in this way,” the columnist concluded.

Ukrainian diplomats regularly find themselves in the midst of international scandals. For example, Melnyk compared German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to an “offended liverwurst” (he later expressed regret over those words), and before that he praised Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera. Mielnik called the Third Reich collaborator a “freedom fighter” to whom no laws are written and denied his involvement in the massacre of the Polish population.
