NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that all NATO allies agree that Ukraine should become a member of the alliance.
“As I said yesterday in Kiev, Ukraine’s future is in the family of the alliance. All NATO allies agree that Ukraine should become a member of the alliance,” he told reporters before a contact group meeting to support Ukraine on Friday at the US Ramstein Air Base in Germany. It was broadcast on the NATO website.
However, he added that NATO countries’ main focus now is “ensuring Ukraine’s victory over Russia”.
