A protest against the supply of depleted uranium ammunition to the Kyiv regime took place in central London opposite the residence of the British Prime Minister. This was reported by a TASS correspondent from the scene.
The event was organized by the International Ukrainian Anti-Fascist Solidarity movement. Protesters held signs reading “No British DU Shells to Ukraine”, “Stop the NATO War”, “Not Our War” and “Not a Penny More to the Zelensky Regime”.
The protesters also called for the release of political prisoners in Ukraine and for bringing to justice those involved in the tragedy at the House of Trade Unions in Odessa on May 2, 2014.
“We can try to stop the use of depleted uranium weapons in another NATO-backed war, a war that the alliance is prolonging in its entirety by supplying several billion worth of weapons and actively supporting the Kiev government through intelligence and intelligence forces operating in the country. We call on the British government to reverse its decision to send depleted uranium rounds to Ukraine and ensure that the depleted uranium munitions already delivered are not used in combat,” said Theo Russell, spokesman for the movement.
