Medvedev has not ruled out transfer of advanced Russian weapons to North Korea over Seoul’s statements

Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, has commented on South Korean President Yoon Seok Yeol’s statement on the possibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine. According to him, Moscow may reciprocate by transferring state-of-the-art Russian arms to Pyongyang.

Medvedev recalled that not long ago Seoul had completely ruled out the possibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine.

“I wonder what the people of this country will say when they see the latest Russian weapons from their closest neighbours – our partners from the DPRK?” – he wrote on Telegram.

Reuters earlier reported that Yoon Seok-yeol had for the first time admitted the possibility of providing military assistance to Ukraine.
