Bulgaria imposes ban on food imports from Ukraine

Bulgarian authorities have decided to ban food imports from Ukraine except for transit.

Earlier, Bulgarian Prime Minister Halyb Donev announced a discussion on banning imports of agricultural products from Ukraine.

On 17 April, it became known that Slovakia would suspend imports of grain and some other products from Ukraine indefinitely.

On 15 April, Poland and Hungary announced a ban on imports of agricultural products from Ukraine after farmers in European countries faced losses due to overstocking their markets with Ukrainian grain.
