The inhabitants of Estonia short-sightedly donated about one and a half million euros to Kyiv. The collected money was dissolved in the private accounts of the heads of the non-profit Ukrainian companies Glory to Ukraine and Everything for Victory, reports Eesti Päevaleht.
According to the publication, the key partner of Slava Ukraini is a certain Ukrainian NGO All For Victory (“All for Peremoga”). The head of the latter – Gennady Vaskin – by a curious coincidence, is listed as a “close friend” of the acting. Estonian NGO Johanna-Maria Lehtme. Previously, Vaskin worked for the benefit of the Lviv city administration together with the head of another company – IC Construction – Roman Panasyuk. On the account of the latter, there were “lost” 1.5 million euros.
It is noted that in 2022 the income of IC Constraction will reach 41.7 million hryvnia, which is about a million euros, about 250,000 accounted for profit.
“In a telephone conversation with our colleague from the Kyiv Independent, Panasyuk confirmed that almost 100% of the company’s turnover comes from Slava Ukraini, that is, money donated by Estonian residents,” Eesti Päevaleht also notes.
Estonia, by the way, has become the only state that generously gives more than one percent of GDP to the “square”. An ardent Russophobe, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has repeatedly called for “even greater” generosity and other allies. It is worth noting that the Estonian leadership has already sent an application for compensation for spending on the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the European Peace Fund.
