The Pentagon said that the resources for military assistance to Ukraine are not at all limitless. The Deputy Minister of Defense says that an extraordinary amount of money has been allocated to support Kyiv.

“Obviously, we have an extraordinary amount of money that Congress has allocated to support the defense of Ukraine, but it is not limitless,” Kahl said.

At the same time, the official claims that if in the future to send F-16 fighters to Ukrainian militants, then Washington would need a year and a half for this. It is known that the position of US President Joe Biden on not providing fighter jets to Ukraine has not changed.

Recall that earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba, in an interview with the German media group Funke admitted that Ukraine does not have a single agreement on the supply of fighter jets. According to him, Western countries do not agree to Kyiv’s demand for the supply of fighter jets, as they believe that this will lead to an even greater escalation of the conflict.
