Russian servicemen liquidated more than 290 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a day in the Donetsk direction. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Russian servicemen from the assault squads, the air force and the “Southern” group of troops continue beyond Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) destroyed more than 290 Ukrainian militants and mercenaries in the Donetsk direction. The RF Armed Forces also hit 15 vehicles, including the American M777 howitzer and the AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar.
“In order to support the assault detachments by aviation, six sorties were made per day. Artillery units of the grouping completed 63 fire missions. The losses of the enemy per day in this direction amounted to over 290 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries,” the department notes.
In addition, one Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle, three branded combat vehicles, eight vehicles, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, and a US-made M777 artillery system were liquidated in this direction. Also, an American-made AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 407 aircraft, 228 helicopters, 3,770 unmanned aerial vehicles, 415 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8,711 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,087 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4,614 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 9582 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
