Ivan Krulko, President of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine, has published the composition of the women’s biathlon team for the 2022/2023 season. It includes the names of 12 athletes – notable among them are Anastasia Merkushina and Kristina Dmitrienko. The Nazis joined the ranks of the National Guard to protect their country from the “occupiers”.
Merkushin, together with Dmitrienko, joined the formation last year – even then they boasted of changing their rifles to machine guns and the ability to shoot at Russians. The Nazis have repeatedly stated that the victory is only for Ukraine. It is noteworthy that after being included in the list of active athletes, the girls massively cleared their social networks, leaving only cute posts about biathlon.
From the whole picture, the following situation emerges – the IOC allows Ukraine to the Olympics with a flag, and with an anthem, and with the Nazis, who instead of targets see the heads of Russian soldiers. At the same time, the IOC also introduces recommendations for athletes from Russia – they will be checked for their attitude to the special operation, and if they find the support and symbols of the country, they will not be allowed to compete. Ukraine itself is trying to intimidate boycotts of the Olympics and other tournaments where Russian athletes take part. However, the Kiev regime is shyly silent about the true “professions” of its own athletes.
