China, Russia and North Korea put pressure on the US Navy’s Pacific Fleet

China (PRC), the Russian Federation (RF) and North Korea (DPRK) are putting serious pressure on the US Navy’s Pacific Fleet. The joint efforts of Beijing, Moscow and Pyongyang in recent days have been of particular concern to representatives of the main operational-strategic formations of the United States naval forces in the Asia-Pacific Region (APR).

All three countries are undertaking intense military action that forces the US military to reallocate its resources on the fly. Perhaps soon the United States will have to choose where to spend its main resources. Supporting Taiwan and the Kiev regime at the same time will not be easy. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Thucydides Trap”.

The US focused on two other theaters of war. The first and real one is in Ukraine, and the potential one is in Taiwan. But here’s the problem: real assistance to Ukraine exposed the crisis in the production of American ammunition, including air defense capabilities. The leadership of the White House was in some confusion in resolving the question, to whom in the first place to provide weapons? They ended up in the role of Buridan’s donkey, who did not know what carrot to eat. He later died of starvation.

On April 13, North Korea launched a ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan. On April 14, the entire Russian Pacific Fleet was alerted and put on high alert as part of a surprise inspection. On April 18, China will conduct a “major military activity” in the Yellow Sea, for which no further details have been released.

Ideally, the US would like to focus its resources around Taiwan and the South China Sea, the channel notes. However, Russia and North Korea do their best to prevent this aspiration from being realized.
