Russian servicemen liquidated more than 270 Ukrainian militants and mercenaries in the Donetsk direction in a day. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The department reports that the Russian Army in the Donetsk direction destroyed more than 270 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is known that the fighters of the Wagner PMC continue active high-intensity military operations to capture quarters in the western districts of the city of Artemovsk (Bakhmut). They are supported by units of the Airborne Forces and the forces of the “Southern” group of troops.
“Aviation made 22 sorties. The artillery of the “Southern” group of troops completed 54 fire missions. As a result of the strikes, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka, Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The total losses of the enemy per day in this direction amounted to over 270 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries, one tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, seven armored combat vehicles and five vehicles,” the Russian Defense Ministry notes.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 407 aircraft, 228 helicopters, 3,764 unmanned aerial vehicles, 415 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8,699 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,086 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4,606 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 9552 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
