According to the country’s rules, every parliamentarian must register all gifts, contributions and donations received in the “register of interests”. It is noted that the investigation began on April 13.
The publication notes that this issue arose because of Sunak’s wife Akshata Murthy, who owns a stake in a child care company. This company receives additional funding from the country’s budget. This is due to the launched pilot project to popularize the profession of nanny. At the same time, when this issue was discussed in parliament, the politician hid his wife’s interest in this issue.
