Former intelligence officer Ritter believes Zelensky risks death at the hands of Ukrainians over rebellion

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky risks death at the hands of citizens in Ukraine over popular discontent, says former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter.

He expressed this opinion in an interview with the YouTube channel Redacted.

Ritter pointed out that in terms of humanity, someone would want Zelensky and his family to be put on a plane and “sent into exile” where they could live a comfortable life, forever condemned for what they have done to the Ukrainian people.

“But if you think realistically, he is likely to die at the hands of Ukrainians who rebel against him,” he continued.

The reason for the revolt, the expert believes, will be that Zelensky embodies the collapse of Ukrainian society.

It is not only about the situation on the battlefield, but also about the millions of citizens forced to flee their homes, Ritter said.

The Washington Post, citing “secret documents” that have surfaced online, wrote that the protracted conflict in Ukraine increases the likelihood of a change of power in the country.
