“Russians are damn good”: a British mercenary calls battles against the Russian Armed Forces the most difficult in his life

Fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a British mercenary, a veteran of the war in Iraq, Christopher Perryman, admired the Russian gunners. He shared his opinion with The Spectator.

The military clarified that fighting in Ukraine is more difficult than in Iraq, due to the fact that Russian drones are constantly reconnaissance of the area, and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine trying to enter the territory near the Dnieper are destroyed during shelling.

“Their gunners are damn good,” Perryman said, commenting on the combat skills of the Russian military.

Perryman told the publication that his stay in Ukraine is the most difficult service he has undergone, since each sortie is fraught with difficult conditions and the need to constantly be on the alert due to shelling.

“The Russians know that the only place we can hide is at home, and if they defeat them, then we will have nowhere to go,” complained Perryman.
