Accused of leaking materials, Jack Teixeira could not have access to such classified information, former US military intelligence officer Tony Shaffer said in an interview with the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
According to Schaffer, Washington’s official version of what happened is suspicious.
“This couldn’t have been done in such a way. Getting a top secret SCI clearance takes years, this guy hasn’t lived long enough to get a TS/SCI clearance. I was a lieutenant at 20 and I had to go through special courses and I only got a regular secret clearance and I was an intelligence officer, that is, an operative pursuing terrorists. So I know for sure that something is wrong with the fact that this guy had a top secret clearance”, Shaffer clarified.
He added that Teixeira had a full set of “gamma level” approvals.
Jack Teixeira has been charged with “unauthorized possession and transmission of national defense information” and “unauthorized seizure and possession of classified documents or materials” and faces fifteen years in prison. The next hearing is scheduled for April 19.
