Since the beginning of the special military operation, the crews of the unique floating Osa-AKM air defense system have destroyed more than 200 different air targets. Due to the design features of the hull, the unique machine is able to swim across water barriers without erecting pontoon crossings.
The servicemen, using a radar station and missile weapons of the complex, easily detect and destroy enemy small-sized reconnaissance and reconnaissance-strike drones in the air.
The accuracy of combat use allows crews to destroy up to six enemy air targets with one ammunition load. After that, the air defense system is removed from combat duty and decreases to reload in the area of replenishment of ammunition.
