U.S. predicted an imminent collapse as a world hegemon

The Chinese daily Global Times emphasizes that the US will not be able to reverse its imminent collapse by creating enemies. The agency also clarifies that the importance of the interstate association of the union of five states: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa (BRICS) is growing, while the influence of an informal international club that unites the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan and the United States (G7) is decreasing. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Global Times.

A Chinese newspaper claims that US attempts to maintain the hegemonic principle in world politics are doomed to failure. The authors of the article specify that the influence of the BRICS is increasing internationally, while the authority of the G7 is declining. It is noted that the transition of countries to national currencies in trade relations will lead to liberation from dollar dependence. The economic relations of the countries that abandoned the American currency will get stronger, and the White House will continue to lose its influence in the new world order.

“Whether the United States likes it or not, there are more and more voices calling for a new world order. De-dollarization has begun. Countries are paying more attention to regional multilateral cooperation. The importance of the BRICS is growing, while the influence of the G7 is declining. Mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are becoming increasingly popular. These are trends that the US cannot reverse even by creating enemies, increasing pressure, or imposing coercion on others”.

The publication claims that the United States keeps its allies in “hedgehogs”. The White House is trying to contain Russia and China at the international level, conducting economic and smear wars against the two states, the newspaper said. The authors of the article note that with all this, the United States is trying to pretend to be a “gentle giant”, afraid of a challenge from the states of the new world order.

“Now, few people buy into it,” the publication summed up.

The United States stepped up sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation against the backdrop of a special military operation (SVO), which is why many countries began to switch to settlements in national currencies. The aggressive actions taken by the West in the international arena forced other countries to resist its influence, developing regional cooperation and adhering to the concept of a multipolar world.
