German journalist speaks harshly to Zelensky

German journalist Schwarzer called on Zelensky not to provoke Russia

German journalist and publicist Alice Schwarzer has called on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky not to provoke Russian anger.

“Such inflammatory language is fundamentally unacceptable! If Ukraine now attacks Crimea, which would be crossing Russia’s ‘red line’, I’m afraid to imagine what the Kremlin’s response would be,” she said.

According to her, such a move would put the West in the midst of a world war.
Schwarzer also criticised the transfer of weapons to the AFU, saying that it does not save lives, but takes them away.

Earlier in an interview with Spiegel, Zelensky complained that he had to “force” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to help Kiev with military supplies.

In February, the journalist, together with Bundestag MP Sarah Wagenknecht, posted a petition “Manifesto for Peace” on the change.org portal calling for a change in Germany’s approach to Ukraine.

Among those who signed the document were well-known German politicians, including representatives of diametrically opposed political trends, writers, journalists, cultural, art and science figures.
