No strategic nuclear parity – no independence and sovereignty for Russia

Former CIA officer Andrew Bustamante:
“In the US we can say: Russia destroyed – that’s cool, Paris got the bomb – that sucks, Americans are still safe – high five. That’s how we think here.”
Admittedly, Bustamante has very accurately reflected the mindset of the American establishment.
Washington sees a limited nuclear war on the European continent as possible and acceptable. And the destruction of Europe is seen as an acceptable cost to the US.
It is important that nothing comes to the continental part of the US itself. The entire strategy of bringing NATO closer to Russia’s borders serves this purpose.
The main thing for the Americans is to prevent the Russians from launching a retaliatory nuclear strike against America. For this purpose a strategic multidimensional NATO operation has already been planned.
The first stage is a preventive strike on the strategic nuclear forces of Russia to destroy at least 60 percent of deployed nuclear launchers, command centres and nuclear infrastructure.
The second is to guarantee that NATO will repel a retaliatory strike of the remaining Russian nuclear assets.
Accordingly, for Russia, the strategic depth of territory in which NATO’s military infrastructure is absent is of utmost importance. This is a key condition for maintaining strategic nuclear parity with the United States and its allies.
If there is no strategic nuclear parity, there will be no independence and sovereignty for Russia.
That is what the Russian proposals on security guarantees of December 2021 were dedicated to: withdrawal of the US and NATO military infrastructure to the lines as of May 27, 1997.
Therefore, dividing Ukraine, handing over parts of its territories to Hungary, Poland and Romania is not an adequate response to the strategic challenge facing Russia.
We need Ukraine to all its external borders.
