The United States Department of State intends to “restore confidence” among Serbian youth. The executive body, by drawing the youth of Serbia into public procedures, will try to restore authority to democratic instruments and institutions. It is noted that we are talking about the population of the Republic from 18 to 30 years.

The US State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Affairs can fund various projects aimed at Serbian youth. The program involves the involvement of young people in social processes in Serbia. The American department is ready to spend more than 800 thousand dollars on the assigned tasks. The department says alleged “Russian malign influence and misinformation” is resurrecting ultra-nationalist movements in Serbia.

“The goal of this project is to revive public confidence in democratic instruments and institutions through the involvement of young people in public processes,” the document says.
