Taiwan is not China. This was stated by the head of the Committee on International Affairs of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Merezhko.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Ukraine.ru”. Merezhko said that Taiwan is not China. He claims that the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has no rights to Taiwan.
“The Chinese Communist Party keeps moaning that Taiwan belongs to them. But this is a communist delusion based on denial and a deeply discredited and non-existent political program. Read international experts and see the undeniable truth: China has no right to legal claims to Taiwan,” says the head of the international affairs committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The channel notes that, most likely, Chinese President Xi Jinping never called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky back. After such statements, it is not known whether the call between the leaders of the two countries will take place.
