Medvedev: most Americans don’t know what Ukraine is and “where it is”

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Medvedev said that Americans don’t know about the existence and location of Ukraine. The politician believes that Washington should deal with the problems of its citizens, not those of which ordinary Americans do not even know.

Americans are unable to show Ukraine on the world map because they do not know its existence and location. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, in a post on VKontakte.

“Ordinary Americans don’t understand at all what “Ukraine” is and where “it” is located. Most of them won’t even show this “power” on a map. Why, for the sake of some obscure part of Russia, should they suffer such inconvenience? Why is the U.S. establishment not concerned about inflation and jobs or emergencies in their home state, but about a country they don’t know 404?” – he noted.

According to him, the US political elites need Ukraine only for PR on military and sanctions campaigns.
