“In such realities, the only way for NATO to avoid reputational risks, namely to keep a good game, is to look for internal enemies and traitors both in Ukraine and in the United States,” she was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

Kovitidi said that the US authorities have “less and less time and desire” for a “toxic and troubled Ukraine”.

Earlier, The New York Times reported on the leak of new classified US documents on Ukraine, as well as on the Middle East and China.

The US Defence Department is investigating the leak of classified materials describing the state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the US and NATO plans to strengthen the Ukrainian army.

The office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the leak as a photoshop.

As the Kremlin noted, Moscow has no doubts about NATO’s direct or indirect involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.
