A former advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Oleksiy Arestovych, has said that Ukraine should be governed by another president, since Volodymyr Zelenskyy failed to rid the country of corruption. This opinion was voiced by Arestovich in an interview with journalist Yuliya Latynina.

“Ukraine needs only one thing <…> that a person who will not steal comes to power. He will not steal and will not let others steal. Unfortunately, we have not been lucky so far”, he said.
Arestovych also stressed that the conflict with Russia could be a good reason to apply measures to combat corruption.
