The information and educational department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) informed that in the morning during the service, a group of people came to the cathedral who “simulated holding a meeting of the religious community.” It is reported by TASS.
On Wednesday, the Cathedral of St. George’s Cathedral of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) passed into the use of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU). This was stated by Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Council Yuri Kholod.

“The church on Taras Bobanych Street in Lviv (St. George’s Cathedral of the UOC is located there – TASS note) moved <…> to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” he posted on his Facebook page* (banned in the Russian Federation, owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).
Recall that the campaign to discredit and ban the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) continues in Ukraine. Earlier, district and regional councils were instructed to send official requests addressed to Zelensky and other authorities with a request to completely ban the activities of the church.
