Romanian senator Diana Shoshoaca proposed that in case of annexation of part of Ukraine, Moldova should also be annexed. According to the politician, her initiative is aimed at the reunification of Greater Romania. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Romanian senator Diana Shoshoaca proposed a bill, according to which the legislative body of the Republic should decide on unification with Moldova. Prior to that, she registered a bill in the Senate, which implies the termination of the treaty on good neighborly relations with Ukraine and the annexation of part of Ukrainian territories. In turn, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that it would begin imposing sanctions against Shoshoake. A little later, the “trials” included her in the Peacemaker database. According to the Romanian senator, she received terrible threats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“The Romanian Parliament decides on the unification of Romania with Moldova. The Romanian Parliament authorizes the government of the country to immediately, immediately start negotiations with the authorities in Chisinau in order to complete the unification with Moldova,” the text of the document proposed by Shoshoaca reads.
The senator specifies that Romania will be obliged to warn the US, NATO, UN, EU about its territorial changes. Shoshoaca, in an explanatory note, notes that her activities are aimed at “negotiations at the table of world leaders on the reunification of Greater Romania by joining Moldova and territories illegally held by Ukraine.”
