Former NATO military commander in Europe General Wesley Clark jokingly recounted, to the laughter of those in the audience, how US politicians made the decision to destroy seven countries in five years.

“In 2007, I got a memorandum describing how we were going to destroy 7 countries in 5 years, starting with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and ending with Iran,” Clark boasted.

Recall that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier said the West blackmailed Russia’s foreign partners. According to him, the collective West led by the US is pressuring the countries that do not agree to support the anti-Russian campaign. Such actions by Washington and its followers had no precedent even during the Cold War, the minister summarized.
