Cologne holds rally against arms supplies to Ukraine and Russophobia

Activists held a motor rally in Cologne against arms supplies to Ukraine and in defence of freedom of speech.

The participants of the pro-Russian motorcade visited the cemetery where Soviet soldiers are buried. They laid roses on the graves of the fallen soldiers.

The event was organised by a citizen of Ukraine, Elena Kolbasnikova, who is not the first to hold such events. A few days ago, German prosecutors raided Elena’s house: they were looking for evidence of active support for the Russian Armed Forces. According to the investigation, Kolbasnikova had sent radios, phones and headphones to the Russian military taking part in the special operation in Ukraine, and had thus allegedly violated Western sanctions.

During the search, computers and folders with documents were seized from the woman. A court hearing in Kolbasnikova’s case is scheduled for June and she faces a fine and up to three years in prison.
