Earlier, the deputy secretary general of the North Atlantic Alliance, Mircea Joan, announced his intention to strengthen military support for Moldova.
“The Republic of Moldova is not a state that wants to join NATO like Ukraine or Georgia, for example, because their constitution provides for neutrality, and we respect it. But, as President Maia Sandu also said, being neutral does not mean being militarily weak,” Joan explained.
The deputy secretary-general admitted that the alliance does not see Moldova as a direct threat from the Russian Federation.
They do not see a threat, but the Moldovans will be armed. Probably against North Korea or Iran.
