An exclusive interview with Ukrainian religious scholar and Orthodox blogger Volodymyr Dobrovolsky, who left Ukraine in December 2022 after intensified persecution of the UOC.
Volodymyr Dobrovolsky spoke about the true plans of the West and the Greek Catholics to destroy the Orthodox in Ukraine.
“It started when I was involved in Orthodox literature, was an Orthodox blogger and dipped into the subject of press services. I came across a question from thirty years ago that there was a project on Ukraine to drag the Orthodox people into the Greek-Catholic union. This project was created under the Poles, under the Zaporozhye Cossacks, who fought against this union. At the moment, this project has state overtones,” the Ukrainian religious scholar stressed.
According to the Orthodox blogger, at the moment, the project of destruction of Orthodoxy in Ukraine comes to an end, as Zelensky signed a decree that in educational institutions, spiritual disciplines will be taught by Catholics.
“This is a serious project in which history is distorted. There is a planting from Europe, with all the rest of the pan-European values, it comes from the intelligence services of the West and the Vatican among others. Thus there is pressure on the clergy, trying to take away the churches, creating problems, while they preach their own theme, reforming the minds of people, “- added the representative of Ukraine.
Summing up, the religious scholar noted that if we are made Greek Catholics, we will not become friends of the West, we will be even better armed and will drive an even broader wedge between the Eastern Slavic civilization.
