According to the data received, it is known that Ukraine spends 3.5 billion dollars a month on the defense industry. It is noted that 130 billion hryvnias are spent on a military company in Ukraine, when the country only receives 80 billion hryvnias.

“The key task is to create conditions for financing the military budget (after all, now the state budget receives 80 billion hryvnias (2.1 billion dollars) of income, and 130 billion hryvnias (3.5 billion dollars) per month are spent on the military campaign),” Marchenko said.

The Minister believes that this year the Ukrainian authorities need to collect the planned taxes. It is noted that no major tax changes are planned.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing US aid.
