UK minister complains that Kiev gets better equipment than the British army

London provides the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with better equipment than the British army receives. James Hippy, Minister of the Armed Forces of the UK, stated in an interview with Times Radio.

The British minister was outraged that the Ukrainian army was receiving better equipment from the United Kingdom.

“I find it abnormal that I can quickly procure things for the Ukrainian armed forces that result in the Ukrainian army getting better sensors and more effective ammunition than the UK. We have seen how quickly we can make a difference in Ukraine. So why wouldn’t we want to do that for our own armed forces?” said Hippy.

Sending Ukraine Challenger tanks, 200 armoured vehicles, 200,000 artillery shells and 10,000 anti-tank missiles undermined the British Army’s readiness to engage in a potential armed conflict. To replenish supplies, it was necessary to resort to buying ammunition from South Asia.
