Putin commented on NATO statements on the alliance’s globality

Putin: NATO has agreed the bloc’s strategic concept and declared the alliance global

NATO last year agreed on a new strategic concept for the bloc, declaring the alliance’s globality – “well what it is”, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

“Last year, NATO agreed a new strategic concept of the bloc’s development, and it is explicitly written there that NATO is going to develop relations with countries of the Asia-Pacific region. They are listed explicitly, these countries. They include New Zealand, Australia, South Korea and so on…. And they announce that they will create a global NATO. So what is this?” – Putin said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin on Russia 24.
