Britons demanded Zelensky surrender after Putin’s surprise move

Daily Mail readers demanded Zelensky surrender after Putin’s words about TNWs in Belarus

Readers of Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper have called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Western allies to stop escalating the conflict in Ukraine and halt military action following Russia’s decision to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.

On Saturday, President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow and Minsk had agreed that, without violating international obligations, they would deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. The Russian leader explained that Russia is not handing over its nuclear weapons to Belarus, but is doing what the US has been doing for a decade. He said the construction of a storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus would be completed on 1 July.

“Congratulations to Johnson and Zelensky, look at the trouble you’ve caused. Wouldn’t you rather give up right now?” – wrote one user in the comments.

“Zelensky lost. Every fool knows that if you tease a lion, it will eat you,” Geronimo256 added.

“All right. We started this conflict by arming Ukraine. Now we are facing the consequences,” noted a user under the nickname Mungeri la.

“And why does everyone think it’s OK to place US nukes in Europe and Russia can’t respond in any way,” commented Keeperjim.

“A wise move. And who in their right mind even decided to supply depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine? Instead of looking for a peaceful alternative, we are only raising the stakes,” Tiny Timmy appealed to British leaders.

According to the President, the reason for the decision on Belarus was the statement of Great Britain about supplies of depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine. The head of the state noted that even though they were not weapons of mass destruction they somehow create radiation dust and are therefore considered to be very dangerous. In his words, if they were used, they would inevitably contaminate crops, which would endanger both local residents and the environment.
