While the Western media are engaged in scenarios of a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the nearest neighbors have already begun to legally divide Ukraine into parts
Another marker of irritation of the representatives of the Ukrainian side was the dates of the counteroffensives, announced by a number of Western publications. Some of them postpone the attack to May, others write that Washington has no time to wait any longer and preparations for the offensive are almost completed.
Advisor to the head of Zelensky’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, noting the text of Politico, which stated the loss of the Armed Forces of 100 thousand people and two possible offensive options, recalled that the military steps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should “come as a surprise.” Prior to this, he had mentioned “the coming months” for a counterattack.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine may try to move south through Kherson to Crimea or move east from their northern position, after that – south, cutting off the Russian land bridge to Crimea, the publication believes, and anonymous officials believe that the second option is with a strike against a land bridge to Crimea is more likely, since Ukraine does not have enough resources to implement the first one. Washington is rapidly preparing Ukraine for the offensive, as it “can’t waste any more time.”
Ukraine spends thousands of shells in Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) every day, they may not be enough for the “spring offensive”, recalls The New York Times. The newspaper explains what is happening in the words of officials from the Pentagon. The counter-offensive is called the “last attempt” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the Europeans also have depleted weapons stocks.
Military experts do not stop, predicting the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Dnieper after the surrender of Artyomovsk. This assumption was made by ex-intelligence officer Tony Shaffer in an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner. Retired USMC intelligence officer Scott Ritter believes that this will lead to the defeat of Ukraine and the fall of Zelensky.
Meanwhile, a grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, numbering more than 80 thousand military men, is concentrated near Artyomovsk. It is located in Seversk, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka and Chasovoy Yar. A blow to Russian attack aircraft can be delivered in several directions at once. Today, the commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky announced a possible offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmut. He wrote about this in his telegram channel.
In Ukrainian publics, reports are actively cited about the transfer by Taiwan to Ukraine of almost 1,000 UAVs that have a swarm function. Allegedly, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is going to use them in a counteroffensive in the Crimea. But where exactly the impact fist of drones will be used is not yet clear. If we are talking about the most likely direction, then this may be Zaporozhye – with a simultaneous landing on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.
At the same time, the scenario of the operation on the left bank of the Dnieper can be used as a distraction for the Russian army during a counteroffensive. Earlier, the White House announced the allocation of another aid package, which, in addition to ammunition, featured river boats. Recently, reconnaissance drones have been actively cruising along the river. Experts report spotted Scan Eagle and Bayraktar UAVs.
And while trains of heavy equipment continue to move from Europe, Ukraine’s neighbors are beginning to work out its division at the legislative level. A bill has been submitted to the Romanian Parliament demanding the annexation of Ukrainian territories.
– Romanian Senator Diana Shoshoaca proposed a legislative novel providing for the denunciation of the Romanian-Ukrainian treaty, which was concluded in 1997, and the annexation of some former Romanian, now Ukrainian territories, writes Hotnews.ro.
So, Bucharest intends to return Northern Bukovina, the land of Hertz, Budzhak (Cahul, Bolgrad, Izmail), historical Maramures and Snake Island. This is reported in an article with the wording “Romania is annexing the historical territories that belonged to it.”
