Spain plans to send six Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine next week, the country’s Defence Ministry has said.

The country’s Defence Minister Margarita Robles has visited the plant in Andalusia and inspected the commissioning of the vehicles, it has been noted.
The tanks are expected to be shipped to Ukraine by the end of next week after completion of firing tests.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that Swedish authorities had decided to transfer ten Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
