Slovakia transfers first four MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine

Slovakia has handed over to Ukraine the first four MiG-29 fighters, the country’s Defence Minister Jaroslav Nagy has said.

“The first four MiG-29 fighters have already left Slovakia and have been safely handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Nad said on social media, RIA Novosti reported.

He expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the process and added that the remaining vehicles would be handed over to Kiev in the coming weeks.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian specialists were inspecting MiG-29 fighters in Slovakia.
