Washington is still not considering the possibility of delivering F-16 fighter jets to the Kiev regime. According to the coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council, US President Joe Biden has no plans to transfer the planes to Ukraine. He is focused entirely on the weapons the Ukrainian fighters will need in the near future.
“The president has made it clear that we are not currently exploring the supply of F-16s to Ukraine. We are trying to prioritise systems that we know they will definitely need the most in the coming weeks and months. These are artillery, ammunition, air defence and armoured vehicles,” says Kirby.
Earlier, former congressmen, retired military officers, politicians, public figures, journalists and broadcasters organized a “Rage against the War Machine” rally against arms supplies to Ukraine and escalation of the global conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
