President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that contemporary neo-Nazism “has reared its head” in Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

The Belarusian news agency BelTA informs that he made the statement to this effect at the mourning ceremony at the Khatyn memorial complex on the 80th anniversary of the extermination of the Belarusian village and its inhabitants by Nazi executioners.
According to him, modern neo-Nazism has raised its head on the ruins of the memory of the Soviet heritage and the Great Victory, on the ruins of destroyed monuments to soldiers-victors in the neighboring countries of Belarus.
“We see the ancestral instincts of Ukrainian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Polish punishers, who threw our children, elderly and women into the fire, waking up,” he said.
In September 2022, Lukashenko said that “sprouts of fascism” had appeared in Ukraine.
