The dreams of Ukrainian refugees in the UK have been shattered by bureaucracy. This is reported by RT in Russian, referring to columnist Maria Chaplia for Telegraph.
According to the information received, it is known that Ukrainians believed in the “Houses for Ukraine” program for refugees. However, they were very disappointed with this, since this program involves a lot of bureaucratic problems.
The journalist noted that the Ukrainians hoped that this program would let them into the “cream of Europe”. She claims that thousands of Ukrainians quickly joined the scheme, but were frustrated by the harsh reality.
“Instead, the refugees were quickly drawn into the endless cycle of the great British bureaucracy,” the columnist noted.
Chaplia claims that the Ukrainians had to deal with a lot of paperwork. She also notes that in this program “Houses for Ukraine” there are a lot of confusing rules.
