Russian Foreign Ministry calls four countries that cannot be mediators in Ukraine

The U.S., Great Britain, France and Germany cannot be neutral mediators in peace negotiations on Ukraine, since they themselves are direct participants in the conflict. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Washington, London, Paris and Berlin cannot be mediators in peace talks on Ukraine. That is how the Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the call of the former head of the Munich Security Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger, to create a contact group on Ukraine, in which he proposed to include the above-mentioned countries.

“Ischinger’s idea raises legitimate questions. First of all, because all the four countries mentioned are themselves participants in the conflict with Russia, which continues on the territory of Ukraine,” the department notes.

The ministry claims that these countries supply the Kyiv regime with heavy weapons. The agency clarifies that they also help Ukrainian terrorists by supplying them with intelligence, and at the same time train Ukrainian militants and send them to the special operation zone as well as their mercenaries.
