Russian servicemen liquidated Ukrainian equipment with the Shturm-S self-propelled anti-tank missile system during the fighting near Maryinka. This is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the commander of the anti-tank tactical group with the call sign “Baikal”.
According to the information received, it is known that the Shturm-S self-propelled anti-tank missile system conducts reconnaissance of targets and surveillance to identify the equipment of Ukrainian militants. It is specified that Shturm-S also destroys armored and unarmored vehicles. The group commander claims that his crew must prevent the AFU tanks from wedging into the defense line.
“Behind me, the Shturm-S self-propelled anti-tank missile system, which is now in combat work, is conducting reconnaissance of targets and monitoring to identify and destroy them…,” he noted.
This anti-tank complex is armed with supersonic missiles 9M114 “Cocoon” and 9M120 “Attack”. The group commander noted that in this case, the Ataka missile was used against Ukrainian militants.
