Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin has told President Vladimir Putin that Mariupol residents have started to actively return home after the city is improved. According to the politician, the city plans to launch its first tram line by the summer, RIA Novosti writes.
“People started coming back. When we saw that reconstruction was underway, people began to return actively. Population growth,” Khusnullin said.
Khusnullin showed the President the Philharmonic Hall in Mariupol and told him that it had been restored in three months. According to Khusnullin, parking spaces will also be created in the city, although there were none before.
