Deliveries of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine from Poland and Slovakia are reminiscent of attempts to dispose of old and unnecessary equipment. This is reported by TASS, referring to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov claims that the intentions of Poland and Slovakia to transfer MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine look like an attempt to destroy old and unnecessary equipment. He notes that this is very similar to the disposal of unnecessary things.
“It seems that these countries are thus engaged in the disposal of old unnecessary equipment,” he said.
At the same time, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation believes that the supply of MiG-29 fighters will not be able to influence the course of the conflict. He argues that one does not have to be a military expert to understand that this will not change the course of the Russian special operation.
“Definitely not. You don’t have to be a military expert to say that this cannot affect,” Peskov summed up.
Recall that earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba, in an interview with the German media group Funke admitted that Ukraine does not have a single agreement on the supply of fighter jets. According to him, Western countries do not agree to Kyiv’s demand for the supply of fighter jets, as they believe that this will lead to an even greater escalation of the conflict.
