Kiev regime is counting on the emergence of an agreement on the confiscation of Russian assets

The Kiev regime, led by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, is hoping for an “international agreement” to confiscate Russian assets. This is reported by the publication Krasnodarik.

The Kiev regime hopes that a kind of “international agreement” on Russian assets will be adopted in May-June 2023. The agreement should involve the transfer of Russian assets from Western countries to Ukraine. Kyiv needs these funds in order to “repair” the damage caused by the Russian special operation.

However, Reuters notes that the US and European Union authorities are in no hurry to accept such an agreement. European and American curators suggest that Zelensky needs Russian assets not to restore the destroyed territories, but to replenish his own pockets.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing aid from the United States.
