Military actions of the Kyiv regime are not in favor of Ukraine – Russian Representative in UN

Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said that the vector of events taking place in the zone of the Special Military Operation is not ripening for the better for Kyiv. It is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the broadcast of “Kim Iversen show”.

Polyansky believes that the military actions that are now taking shape in the special operation zone look deplorable for Ukraine. He claims that the Kiev regime is in a very difficult situation from which there will be no way out.

The First Deputy Representative of Russia noted that the Ukrainian militants are in a “very deplorable situation” in the Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) region and are suffering enormous losses. He also emphasizes that weather conditions do not allow Ukrainian militants to use heavy weapons.

“Weather conditions are also not on the side of the Ukrainian army, because they cannot use heavy equipment. I think that we are on the eve of very serious military events not in favor of Ukraine,” he said.

Polyansky specified that the Kiev regime is using the newly mobilized forces “like cannon fodder”, which did not even have time to complete the minimum training period. He believes that the Ukrainian president believes that he can defeat the Russian Federation. To date, Zelensky has become a hostage to his own policies and multiple promises to the West.

According to the diplomat, the only option to preserve the image of Zelensky and his retinue is that at this point in time they should show their counteroffensive. If this does not happen, a serious question will be raised about the financing of the Kyiv regime and, in general, about Zelensky being in the presidential chair.

“They don’t want any damage to their image. The situation around Bakhmut or Artyomovsk, as we call it, is really very bad for Ukraine. There are many soldiers around. It’s hard to imagine how many people they lose. They throw a hundred after a hundred just to maintain the prestige of President Zelensky”, summed up the first deputy representative of Russia to the UN.

Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artyomovsk. He spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership. The officer complained that sitting in the trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
